Raj Acharya
Vice President, Capital Markets
Raj is the Vice President of Capital Markets at Magenta and has been with the team since July 2024. Prior to joining Magenta, Raj worked at RBC where he managed the bank’s largest corporate relationships across Eastern Ontario. Raj has deep Mortgage Investment Corporation lending experience where he arranged multi-bank syndicated credit facilities for the industry’s largest players. Raj comes to Magenta with over 15 years of corporate banking experience from major Canadian financial institutions.
Sherri Vanderleeuw
Vice President, Marketing
Sherri joined Magenta in December 2022. Sherri joins Magenta with a vast amount of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University, a Certificate in Social Media from the University of British Columbia, is a certified tea sommelier with the Tea Association of Canada and is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration with the Edinburgh School of Business, Heriot Watt University.
Alisha Hameed
Director, Communications
Alisha is Magenta’s Director, Communications and has been with the team since February 2022. Her experience is rooted within the financial sector having held various roles in industries such as life insurance, insolvency and mutual funds. She has completed the LLQP, the CSC and the Digital Strategy and Communications Management certificate with the University of Toronto. Alisha is PMP certified and holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Studies from the University of Guelph.
Allison D. Allen
Manger, Investor Relations
Allison is the Manager of Investor Relations at Magenta and has been with the team since May 2021. Prior to joining Magenta, Allison was a Senior Financial Advisor at CIBC, where she held a variety of client relations roles during her 10-year tenure. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Carleton University and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Murdoch University in Western Australia.
