About Your Role
As a member of the Underwriting department, the Fulfillment Officer reviews, approves, and escalates mortgage documentation received from our broker partners. The objective of the Fulfillment Officer is to review and process mortgage documentation to ensure they meet Magenta’s mortgage asset quality standards, while at the same time optimizing new advances volume.
We’re looking for a Fulfillment Officer with experience working in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments. The position requires the ability to make consistent and objective risk assessments as part of a high-volume, deadline-driven team.
What you’ll work on:
- Working with brokers to collect all required broker conditions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of applications.
- Reviewing all documentation related to broker conditions; responsible for validating and verifying application data as well as ensuring that it matches committed terms and follows established regulatory and company guidelines and policies.
- Updating application details in the mortgage underwriting system when updated information received.
- Escalating any documentation issues, including fraud, to the Underwriter, Team Lead, Manager or Director for review and sign off.
- Escalating any exceptions to Underwriter, Manager or Director for review and sign off.
