As a member of the Mortgage Administration Team, the Funding Specialist reviews legal documentation to ensure accuracy within the established guidelines, allowing mortgage loans to be funded on scheduled closing dates. The ideal candidate for this role is enthusiastic and has remarkable attention to detail and is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. What you’ll work on:
- Prepare and send solicitor instruction packages
- Review legal mortgage documentation to ensure alignment with committed terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Escalate documentation issues or exceptions for review and approval
- Build and maintain positive relationships with solicitors
- Liaise with solicitors to collect all required closing documentation and more.
